25+ Outdoor Water Toys
This year we are experiencing a heatwave in Chicago. Now, I am not one to complain about the heat because we get so much snow, but if I am going to take advantage of the heat I need to be prepared. That is why have rounded up more than 25 of the best outdoor water toys for the summer!
I have grouped all of the toys by “area”: inflatable pools, in the pool toys, sprinklers/ splash pads, and inflatable waterslides. As of this post, there are a few things on major sale which is definitely a huge bonus!
Inflatable pools:
I got the girls the inflatable unicorn in the spring last year right around Easter. Amelia named her Nickel and we use Nickel at least once a week. I like inflatable pools because you can move them around so you don’t kill your grass in one spot.
In the Pool Toys:
My favorite water toys are the diving sticks with the numbers. I am pretty competitive so I love a game with numbers and winning. The ring toss and the ball toss games can be used in a pool or on the ground easily!
Sprinklers, Splashpads,
+ Waterslides:
I think the waterslide is the perfect water activity for a party with kids AND adults. Add a little soap to the slide and let the fun begin. I was able to host my husband’s co-workers and families and we had a ball with a waterslide (the pink and red pictured below) and a cactus sprinkler. The kids had a great time and so did the adults. I love an activity that keeps kids busy and tires them enough to have a nap in the car and still go right to bed when they get into the house! Don’t you?
Inflatable Waterslide:
I can’t imagine how crazy I would have been as a kid with a inflatable waterslide of my own, ha. I hadn’t seen a waterslide like these until last year and they were all sold out! This year, these backyard waterslides are available and many at discounted price (as of the posting date.)
How are you going to stay cool this summer? I hope you are able to stay cool and make some fun memories with your babies! I love to do fun round-ups like this! You can find more of my round-ups on the LiketoKnow.it website and app!
