How to Prep for Goal Setting

Confession: I am not a really into New Year’s resolutions. I don’t think we should wait to make a new goal or to start improving our life/mindset. Most New’s Years resolutions fail, I believe it is because there wasn’t a good foundation set and maybe they aren’t planned through completely.

I believe to set an attainable goal we must know our very end goal. In the video below, I discuss share two resources to get us in the life goal setting mindset, because if we know where we want to go then it is easier for us to map out a way for us to get there.

The first book I spoke about is Living Forward by Michael Hyatt and Daniel Harkavy. I really appreciated how the authors took the time to give us real actionable resources to help us reach our end goal. The second book is Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyers. Meyers encourages us with fervor to understand that our minds can and will determine what we believe we can accomplish.

Setting a goal can happen any time! Don’t wait for a new year, but definitely try to be as prepared as possible. If your mind leaves your goals, you can direct your mind back there. Starting again is NEVER a problem!

“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.”

What book are you going to start with?
